The approved indigent applications total 3 489 for the 50 units of free electricity and other relevant rebates (free basic services).
This week, 84 new applications were received with only 55 forms incomplete with outstanding documentation and incorrect information.
The numbers per area are as follows:

- Hangklip-Kleinmond: 311
- Stanford: 295
